The Government today announced the results of the selection for District Services & Community Care Teams in Tsuen Wan and Southern districts.

Tsuen Wan and Southern district offices have informed and met the selected organisations respectively to prepare for the care teams’ formation.

The selection process comprises the two stages of organisation selection and service proposal assessment.

A two-tiered vetting structure was in place to ensure transparency and fairness, involving district assessment and co-ordinating panels chaired by district officers, and a territory-wide assessment and steering group chaired by the Secretary for Home & Youth Affairs.

Tsuen Wan and Southern district offices will shortly enter into funding agreements with the selected organisations based on the accepted service proposals, with a view to launching the care teams in the two districts within April.
