The Civil Engineering & Development Department today announced that it will hold exhibitions on the Kau Yi Chau Artificial Islands starting this Thursday.

The exhibitions aim to tell citizens about the preliminary proposals concerning the islands ie reclamation extent, broad land use, strategic transport infrastructure and possible financing options, in order to strengthen public understanding and collect opinions.

The department noted that there will be public engagement at different stages, including during the period of various statutory procedures. The relevant website will be updated from time to time.
