Testing compliance checked

The Government today completed joint enforcement operations at Block 1 of Liberte in Cheung Sha Wan and Hoi Yat Court of South Horizons in Ap Lei Chau, which were earlier included in compulsory testing notices.

 

At Block 1 of Liberte, the enforcement action was conducted by the Buildings Department, the Land Registry, together with Police and the Department of Health.

 

Out of the 392 people whose test records were checked, seven failed to comply with the notice and was issued with a compulsory testing order. A fixed penalty notice of $10,000 was also given to four of them.

 

For Hoi Yat Court, where the Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department, Police and the Department of Health checked 342 people’s test records, it was discovered that five individuals did not comply with the notice. They were issued with a compulsory testing order. Moreover, a fixed penalty notice of $10,000 was issued to two of them.
