The Government today completed joint enforcement operations at Tower 2 of the Orchards in Quarry Bay and Shek Jing House of Chun Shek Estate in Sha Tin, which were earlier included in compulsory testing notices.

At Tower 2 of the Orchards, the enforcement action was conducted by the Environment & Ecology Bureau and the Environmental Protection Department together with Police and the Department of Health.

Out of the 272 people whose test records were checked, 10 failed to comply with the notice and were issued with a compulsory testing order. A fixed penalty notice of $10,000 was also issued to six of them.

For Shek Jing House where the Housing Department, Police and the Department of Health checked 287 people’s test records, it was discovered that five individuals failed to comply with the notice. A fixed penalty notice of $10,000 was also issued to two of them.
