The Electoral Affairs Commission (EAC) will hold an online briefing for candidates of the 2022 Legislative Council Election Committee constituency by-election at 7.30pm on November 28, the Registration & Electoral Office (REO) announced today.

EAC Chairman David Lok will chair the briefing session that will focus on the arrangements for the by-election, guidelines on election-related activities and important points to note in running the election campaigns.

Representatives from the Independent Commission Against Corruption, Hongkong Post, the REO as well as the Department of Justice will also be present.

There will be a question-and-answer session for the candidates and their election agents to submit enquiries online.

The public can view the briefing live on Radio Television Hong Kong’s RTHK TV 32 and dedicated YouTube channel or the Information Services Department website.

Relevant information on the briefing and the by-election will also be available on the election website.
