The Taxi Service Commendation Scheme 2022, co-organised by the Transport Department and the Committee on Taxi Service Quality (CTSQ) to promote quality services and the image of the taxi industry, is now open for public nominations until January 13 next year.

Members of the public can nominate quality taxi drivers and service management teams, as well as share the "Good Driver, Good Service" riding experience, via the CTSQ’s webpage by scanning the QR code on the promotion material of the scheme displayed inside the taxi compartments.

A total of 24 awards will be granted this year, including 20 "Quality Taxi Drivers" awards, a "Most Popular Taxi Driver" award, a "Quality Taxi Service Management Team" award, and two "Good Driver, Good Service" awards.

After the nomination period, members of the public can cast their votes for the "Quality Taxi Drivers" and "Good Driver, Good Service" awards on the CTSQ's webpage.

The "Quality Taxi Service Management Team" award will be evaluated and selected by an assessment panel of the CTSQ.

It is expected that the award presentation ceremony will be held in mid-2023.
