A total of 175 wet goods stalls were let in the two-day open auction that ended today for stalls at the 2023 Victoria Park Lunar New Year Fair.

The Food & Environmental Hygiene Department said the average bid for the wet goods stalls was about $27,556, with the successful bids ranging from $5,440 to $69,000.

The auction fetched a total of $4,822,220 compared with $4,510,440 last year.

The auctions for the Tat Tung Road Garden and Fa Hui Park Lunar New Year Fair stalls will be held at the Assembly Hall, Lai Chi Kok Government Offices, 19 Lai Wan Road at 9.30am on November 11 and 14 respectively.

The auctions for the Cheung Sha Wan Playground and Morse Park Lunar New Year Fair stalls will be held at the same Lai Chi Kok venue on November 15 at 9.30am and 2.30pm.

The auctions for the Kwun Tong Recreation Ground Lunar New Year Fair stalls will be held at 9.30am on November 16, also at Lai Chi Kok Government Offices.
