Lanterns light up HK for mid-autumn

Hong Kong is illuminated by spectacular lantern displays to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. 


At Victoria Park, local paper craft master Hui Ka-hung's seven-metre-tall Chinese vessel lantern Happy Duo under the Full Moon features the Leisure & Cultural Services Department's mascots riding the waves.


About 1,000 colourful lanterns light up Tung Chung East Promenade under the theme of "Love & Reunion", including a giant neon light lantern and four-metre-tall lantern walls designed by architect Stanley Siu.


For public health and safety, visitors are required to take appropriate precautionary measures during their visits to the lantern displays. wishes our readers a happy Mid-Autumn Festival!
