The Government launched the public consultation for the 2022 Policy Address today.

Chief Executive John Lee will deliver his first Policy Address on October 19 and he earnestly invites members of the public to give their views.

“Your views will drive us to better serve citizens and the development of Hong Kong,” he said.

About 30 consultation sessions will be held to listen to views and suggestions of Legislative Council members, representatives of various sectors and the public. Mr Lee and his governing team will also conduct district visits to meet citizens to tap public opinion.

“I advocate a people-based governing belief while pursuing a result-oriented approach to serve members of the public in a pragmatic manner.

“I shall turn my electoral promises and community interests into practical measures to improve governance, strengthen the momentum for development, tackle people’s concerns, and unite the community. Together we will leverage on Hong Kong’s unique strengths of having the motherland’s support and connect with the world to build a harmonious and diverse community where development opportunities abound.”
