Free admission at museums on Jul 1
The Leisure & Cultural Services Department announced today that free admission will be offered to the permanent exhibitions of the Science Museum and Space Museum on July 1.
The free admission for the two venues is to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the department said, adding that the arrangement does not cover the Space Theatre's shows.
Other museums under its management are also staging a range of free exhibitions, while the Museum of Coastal Defence and Sheung Yiu Folk Museum are temporarily closed for maintenance.
