2 hotels join quarantine scheme

May 25, 2022

The Government announced today that two hotels will be added to the seventh cycle of the Designated Quarantine Hotel Scheme.

The additional hotels are Conrad Hong Kong and Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel.

They will start accepting room bookings from late May and start service from early June, providing about 600 additional rooms.

In anticipation of the continuously increasing number of inbound travellers, the Government issued letters to hotels and guesthouses with valid licences last month to invite applications for joining as quarantine hotels in the current cycle, with a view to increasing the supply of rooms.

Another hotel, which had initially been used as a community isolation facility and was converted into a quarantine hotel, has applied to formally join the current cycle of the scheme.

As at today, there are 64 quarantine hotels in Hong Kong, providing around 23,000 rooms.
