6 cases found in restricted areas

The Government today announced that six COVID-19 cases were found in the compulsory testing exercises for the restricted areas in Kwun Tong, Fanling and Kennedy Town.

 

It made restriction-testing declarations yesterday to cover King Tai House of On Tai Estate in Kwun Tong, Ka Yiu House of Ka Shing Court in Fanling and West Terrace of Sai Wan Estate in Kennedy Town.

 

At King Tai House, 2,210 people underwent testing and two of them tested positive for the virus.

 

Three positive COVID-19 cases were detected at Ka Yiu House after 1,415 people were tested there while one case was identified at West Terrace where 270 people underwent testing.

 

There were also two indeterminate cases at King Tai House and seven more at Ka Yiu House.

 

The Centre for Health Protection will follow up on the cases.
