The Government today announced that 33 COVID-19 cases were found in the compulsory testing exercises for the restricted areas in Tuen Mun and Cheung Sha Wan.

It made restriction-testing declarations yesterday to cover Hei Tin House of Yan Tin Estate in Tuen Mun as well as Yee Hong, Yee Yan and Yee Sau houses of Yee Kok Court in Cheung Sha Wan.

At Hei Tin House where around 2,200 people underwent testing, 29 positive cases and one indeterminate case were identified.

For the three buildings of Yee Kok Court, four out of 593 people tested positive for the virus.

The Centre for Health Protection will follow up on the cases.
