907 virus cases in restricted areas

The Government today announced that 907 preliminary positive COVID-19 cases were found in the compulsory testing exercises involving five restricted areas in Tin Shui Wai, Tsing Yi, Fo Tan, Kowloon City and Kwun Tong.

 

It made restriction-testing declarations yesterday to cover Yiu Shing House of Tin Yiu (I) Estate in Tin Shui Wai and Block 11 of Mayfair Gardens in Tsing Yi, where about 1,440 and 615 people were tested.

 

The three other declarations covered Chun Yat House of Chun Yeung Estate in Fo Tan, Tak Loong House of Tak Long Estate in Kowloon City and Wo Tai House of On Tai Estate in Kwun Tong where 1,950, 1,730 and 1,930 people took the test.

 

A total of 223 preliminary positive cases were detected in Yiu Shing House, 50 in Block 11 of Mayfair Gardens, 150 in Chun Yat House, 233 in Tak Loong House and 251 in Wo Tai House.

 

There were also 80 indeterminate cases in the five buildings.
