The Government today announced that 461 preliminary positive COVID-19 cases were found in the compulsory testing exercises involving three restricted areas in Cheung Sha Wan, Kwun Tong and Tseung Kwan O.

It made restriction-testing declarations yesterday to cover Lai Pak House of Lai Tsui Court in Cheung Sha Wan, Ming Tai House of On Tai Estate in Kwun Tong and Royal Diamond of The Wings II in Tseung Kwan O, where about 1,957, 2,080 and 500 people were tested.

A total of 228 preliminary positive cases were detected in Lai Pak House, 216 in Ming Tai House, and 17 in Royal Diamond.

There were also 29 indeterminate cases in the three buildings.

The Centre for Health Protection will follow up on the cases.
