The expert delegation also visited the Centre for Health Protection, exchanging views with its Controller Dr Edwin Tsui and a number of epidemiological experts to get a better grasp of the epidemiological investigations and workflow in Hong Kong as well as the related information system.
Noting that today’s meeting was very thorough and constructive, Prof Chan said the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government will continue to explore strategies and measures to put the epidemic situation under control, based on the initial recommendations of the experts.
The aim to achieve dynamic zero infections will continue to ensure the effective operation of the public health system and safeguard citizens' well-being, she added.
