Working family e-service enhanced

December 29, 2021

The Working Family Allowance Office today said it added new functions to the e-submission service for Working Family Allowance (WFA) and launched a new Online Counter Appointment System to offer applicants greater convenience.

The added functions, pertaining to the phase-two enhancement of the WFA e-submission service, include allowing applicants to withdraw submitted applications, changing the personal information submitted and applying for a review/appeal online through an iAM Smart account.

Applicants may also check messages related to their applications and download notifications of their application results anytime.

The office explained that it had improved its e-submission service earlier to assist applicants. After registering for an iAM Smart account, WFA recipients can use e-prefilled forms to submit new applications. They may also check their submitted applications as well as their case officers’ contact details.

Applicants who have upgraded to iAM Smart+ accounts can also digitally sign and submit applications online.

The office added that it launched the Online Counter Appointment System to allow people in need to make online bookings for counter enquiry services at its Kwun Tong office and request for arranging necessary interpretation services during their visits.
