The Department of Health said the fifth batch of about 400,000 doses of the Sinovac vaccine has been delivered to Hong Kong from Beijing today.

Staff carried out stringent checks and inspections in accordance with established procedures to ensure that the vaccine complies with the product specifications and that the transportation process followed the relevant cold-chain requirements.

The Government has launched the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme and members of the public are encouraged to get vaccinated.
