November 28, 2021

The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating three additional imported COVID-19 cases, two of which involve mutant strains while the remaining case's mutation test result is pending.

The new cases involve three men aged 37 to 80. All of them arrived from medium-risk places.

One of the patients tested positive upon arrival at Hong Kong International Airport while the other two were confirmed infected with the virus during quarantine.

A total of 44 cases were reported in Hong Kong in the past 14 days, all of which are imported.
