Tsim Sha Tsui restricted area set

November 9, 2021

The Government has made a restriction-testing declaration for Harbour Pinnacle in Tsim Sha Tsui due to a preliminary positive imported COVID-19 case involving a mutant strain.

The Centre for Health Protection said the relevant patient, who arrived from overseas, has lived in the building upon arrival in Hong Kong.

After conducting a risk assessment, the Government decided to make a restriction-testing declaration for Harbour Pinnacle where the individual lives.

The declaration took effect from 7pm and aims to be finished by about 7am tomorrow. Those who have undergone testing from November 7 to 9 and can provide testing proof are not required to undergo testing again.

People who had been present at the building for more than two hours from October 18 to November 9 must undergo compulsory testing on or before November 11, even if they were not present in the restricted area at the time when the declaration took effect.
