$4.3m set for quake victims

October 5, 2021

The Government today approved $4.34 million in grants to World Vision Hong Kong to help earthquake victims in Haiti.

Noting that the earthquake in the country had affected around 1.2 million people, the Government said the grant will be used to provide hygiene, shelter, bedding and kitchen kits for around 9,600 flood victims.

To ensure the money is properly used, the relief agency must submit an evaluation report and audited account after the relief project is completed.
