8.42m vaccine jabs administered

About 8,423,300 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 4,418,000 people receiving their first dose and around 4,005,300 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 1,602,600 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 2,815,400 people got the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 1,460,600 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 2,544,600 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 18,200 people received jabs under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

Around 2,300 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 5,000 people received their second dose.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 3,100 people received their first dose and around 7,800 people got their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at community vaccination centres is about 91% while it is about 87% for the BioNTech one.

 

As of 8pm, about 600 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 2,700 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, two people were sent to hospitals.
