5 imported COVID-19 cases found

The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating five additional imported COVID-19 cases involving patients who arrived from Qatar, the US, the Philippines and India.

 

Specified people linked to Aigburth and 7 Lyttelton Road in Mid-Levels are reminded to undergo compulsory testing tomorrow in accordance with the notice.

 

In view of a non-locally confirmed case who had stayed in Hong Kong, Flats 9 to 16 of Block K, Kornhill, Quarry Bay are included in a compulsory testing notice. Those who have completed a COVID-19 vaccination course are also required to get tested.

 

The Government will set up a mobile specimen collection station at Quarry Bay Community Hall’s carpark tomorrow to provide a free service for residents and workers of Kornhill subject to compulsory testing.

 

A total of 40 cases were reported in Hong Kong in the past 14 days, all of which are imported.
