8.06m jab doses administered

About 8,061,900 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 4,313,600 people receiving their first dose and around 3,748,300 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 1,568,600 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 2,745,000 people got the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 1,383,300 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 2,364,900 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 51,400 people received jabs under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

Around 5,100 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 10,600 people received their second dose.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 10,200 people received their first dose and around 25,600 people got their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine and the BioNTech one at community vaccination centres is about 97%.

 

As of 8pm, about 1,200 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 5,600 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, eight people were sent to hospitals.
