7.28m vaccine jabs given

About 7,287,800 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 4,031,800 people receiving their first dose and around 3,256,000 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 1,491,500 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 2,540,300 people got the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 1,232,900 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 2,023,200 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 60,500 people received jabs under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

About 6,800 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 11,200 people received their second dose.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 16,800 people received their first dose and around 25,700 people got their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine and the BioNTech jab at community vaccination centres is about 97%.

 

As of 8pm, about 2,100 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 8,400 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, 14 people were sent to hospitals.
