6.88m vaccine jabs administered

About 6,881,100 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 3,858,500 people receiving their first dose and around 3,022,600 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 1,446,300 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 2,412,300 people got the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 1,165,000 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 1,857,600 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 59,500 people received jabs under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

About 7,500 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 8,900 people received their second dose.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 21,200 people received their first dose and around 22,000 people got their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at community vaccination centres is about 97%, while it is about 98% for the BioNTech one.

 

As of 8pm, about 2,300 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 9,700 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, 12 people were sent to hospitals.
