6.24m vaccine doses given

About 6,248,700 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 3,528,700 people receiving their first dose and around 2,720,000 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 1,360,900 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 2,167,800 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 1,073,600 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 1,646,400 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 68,600 people received jabs under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

About 10,300 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 12,100 people received their second dose.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 24,500 people received their first dose and around 21,700 people got their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at community vaccination centres is about 97%, while it is about 98% for the BioNTech one.

 

As of 8pm, about 4,200 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 17,200 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, 12 people were sent to hospitals.
