5m vaccine jabs administered

About 5,014,300 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 2,922,600 people receiving their first dose and around 2,091,700 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 1,172,300 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 1,750,300 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 865,700 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 1,226,000 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 60,700 people received jabs under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

About 8,700 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 11,700 people received their second dose.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 25,700 people received their first dose and about 14,600 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at community vaccination centres is about 96%, while it is 98% for the BioNTech one.

 

As of 8pm, about 4,300 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 25,300 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, 18 people were sent to hospitals.
