3.72m vaccine jabs given

About 3,729,100 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 2,249,000 people receiving their first dose and around 1,480,100 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 970,000 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 1,279,000 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 605,000 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 875,100 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 60,000 people received jabs under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today, a record high for the daily figure of doses administered since its launch.

 

About 13,600 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 11,200 people received their second dose.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 22,900 people received their first dose and about 12,300 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at community vaccination centres is about 91%, while it is 96% for the BioNTech one.

 

As of 8pm, about 6,400 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 26,700 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, 16 people were sent to hospitals.
