3.34m vaccine jabs given

About 3,348,200 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 2,026,100 people receiving their first dose and around 1,322,100 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 884,400 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 1,141,700 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 543,100 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 778,900 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 12,500 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 5,300 people received their second dose under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 14,900 people received their first dose and about 7,900 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at community vaccination centres is about 96%, while it is 98% for the BioNTech one.

 

As of 8pm, about 7,700 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 22,500 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, five people were sent to hospitals.
