7 imported COVID-19 cases found

The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating seven additional COVID-19 cases.

 

Garuda Indonesia flight GA876 arriving from Jakarta, Indonesia on June 20 had four passengers on board confirmed infected with COVID-19 by arrival tests. The Department of Health has prohibited the landing in Hong Kong of passenger flights from Jakarta operated by Garuda Indonesia from today until July 5.

 

Meanwhile, specified people linked to Shing Yu House, Block P, Tin Shing Court, Tin Shui Wai are reminded to undergo compulsory testing tomorrow. A mobile specimen collection station will be set up at Tin Shing Court to provide a free testing service for people subject to compulsory testing.

 

A total of 24 cases were reported in Hong Kong in the past 14 days, all being imported cases.
