2.78m vaccine doses given

About 2,787,100 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,636,400 people receiving their first dose and about 1,150,700 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 718,900 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 917,500 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 483,800 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 666,900 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 13,800 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 3,600 people received their second dose under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 14,100 people received their first dose and about 6,500 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at community vaccination centres is about 97%, while the percentage for the BioNTech one is 98%.

 

As of 8pm, about 10,900 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 24,600 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, nine people were sent to hospitals.
