About 2,434,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,399,300 people receiving their first dose and about 1,034,700 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 606,000 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 793,300 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 441,600 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 593,000 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 11,200 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 5,600 people received their second dose under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 8,600 people received their first dose and about 8,100 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at community vaccination centres is about 96%, while it is about 97% for the BioNTech one.

 

As of 8pm, about 15,000 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 32,600 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, eight people were sent to hospitals.
