2.4m vaccine doses administered

About 2,400,400 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,379,400 people receiving their first dose and about 1,021,000 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 594,800 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 784,700 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 436,000 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 584,900 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 9,800 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 6,200 people received their second dose under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 10,200 people received their first dose at community vaccination centres (CVCs) and about 10,100 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is about 96%, while it is about 97% for the BioNTech one.

 

As of 8pm, about 12,300 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 25,400 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, four people were sent to hospitals.
