2.32m vaccine doses administered

About 2,328,700 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,342,200 people receiving their first dose and about 986,600 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 577,500 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 764,600 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 424,600 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 562,000 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 9,600 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 4,900 people received their second dose under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 12,800 people received their first dose at community vaccination centres (CVCs) and about 15,200 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is about 97%, the same as the BioNTech one.

 

As of 8pm, about 10,500 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 17,700 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, 16 people were sent to hospitals.
