2.25m vaccine doses given

About 2,250,200 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,302,500 people receiving their first dose and about 947,700 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 560,200 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 742,300 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 413,600 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 534,100 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 6,400 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 4,300 people received their second dose under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 6,200 people received their first dose at community vaccination centres (CVCs) and about 9,100 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is about 95%, while it is about 97% for the BioNTech one.

 

As of 8pm, about 6,600 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 13,600 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, 11 people were sent to hospitals.
