2.2m vaccine doses given

About 2,200,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,278,600 people receiving their first dose and about 921,500 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 548,000 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 730,600 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 405,300 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 516,200 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 5,900 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 4,000 people received their second dose under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 5,100 people received their first dose at community vaccination centres (CVCs) and about 9,900 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is about 96%, while it is 97% for the BioNTech one.

 

As of 8pm, about 5,300 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 10,400 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, nine people were sent to hospitals.
