2.14m vaccine jabs administered

About 2,146,700 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,254,800 people receiving their first dose and about 891,800 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 536,100 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 718,700 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 397,100 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 494,700 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 4,000 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 3,900 people received their second dose under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 7,800 people received their first dose at community vaccination centres (CVCs) and about 13,100 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is about 96%, while for the BioNTech one it is about 95%.

 

As of 8pm, about 4,300 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 9,400 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, 13 people were sent to hospitals.
