Applications for the purchase of Green Form Subsidised Home Ownership Scheme (GSH) flats or recovered flats from Tenants Purchase Scheme (TPS) estates will open on May 28.

Application materials will be available for collection from May 21 and applications should be submitted from May 28 to June 10.

This sale round includes 2,112 new flats at Kai Chuen Court, Diamond Hill; 525 unsold/rescinded flats from Dip Tsui Court, Chai Wan and Ching Fu Court, Tsing Yi under the GSH in 2019; and about 800 recovered TPS flats.

Kai Chuen Court, a new development under the GSH, has saleable areas of about 17.1 sq m to 44.7 sq m. By applying a discount of 50% from the assessed market values, the selling prices range from about $1.18 million to $3.85 million. The average selling price is $79,500 per sq m on a saleable area basis.

Prices of the flats from Dip Tsui Court and Ching Fu Court to be put up for sale are set at a discount of 50% from the assessed market values.

The sale of the recovered TPS flats to Green Form applicants will adopt the existing pricing mechanism for the sale of TPS flats to sitting tenants. As at January 2021, the list prices of all unsold flats in the 39 estates under this scheme ranged from about $140,000 to $1.26 million. The final prices will depend on the flats that will be put up for sale in this exercise.

Applicants may submit online or paper-based applications by post or by hand. The application deadline is 7pm on June 10.

Sales brochures, pamphlets and price lists will be available on the designated website at least seven days before the flat selection period starts.

Balloting is expected to be held in July or August, and eligible applicants will be invited to select flats starting from September or October according to their priority order of the application category.
