1.98m vaccine doses given

About 1,984,300 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,180,400 people receiving their first dose and about 803,800 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 509,900 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 670,600 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 372,500 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 431,300 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 4,500 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and around 4,700 people received their second dose under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 8,000 people received their first dose at community vaccination centres (CVCs) and about 11,900 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is about 96%, the same as for the BioNTech one.

 

As of 8pm, about 4,400 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 8,900 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, four people were sent to hospitals.
