Lunar eclipse live stream set
May 17, 2021
The Space Museum will live stream a total lunar eclipse from 7pm to 9pm on May 26.
The total eclipse phase will kick in at 7.11pm when the moon enters the Earth’s shadow completely, which lasts for about 15 minutes with the moon taking on an uncommon coppery-red hue.
The event can be best observed at places with an unobstructed view to the east-southeast if weather permits.
The museum will live stream the total lunar eclipse via its YouTube channel. Curators will share interesting eclipse tidbits such as the super moon and the fascinating science behind the moon.
