1 imported case detected

The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating one additional COVID-19 case.

 

The imported case involves a 25-year-old woman who arrived from Indonesia.

 

A total of 40 cases have been reported in the past 14 days, including eight local cases, of which one is from an unknown infection source.

 

Meanwhile, specified people in relation to Tower 11, Carmel Cove, Caribbean Coast in Tung Chung, Fung Hing House, Hing Wah (II) Estate in Chai Wan and 37-39 Fuk Wing Street in Sham Shui Po are reminded to undergo compulsory testing tomorrow.

 

Twenty-eight schools where an outbreak of upper respiratory tract infection and/or influenza-like illness had occurred are covered in the compulsory testing notice.

 

The Government will set up mobile specimen collection stations at the playground between Lok Hing House and Wo Hing House in Hing Wah (II) Estate and outside 37-39 Fuk Wing Street tomorrow.
