1.95m vaccine jabs administered

About 1,955,100 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,167,900 people receiving their first dose and about 787,200 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 505,400 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 662,500 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 367,800 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 419,400 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 3,400 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

Among them, about 3,000 people received the jab at community vaccination centres (CVCs), while about 400 people were inoculated at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.

 

Around 3,800 people received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine today, including about 3,300 vaccinated at CVCs and about 400 people through private doctors and clinics.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 10,500 people received their first dose at CVCs and about 11,100 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is about 96%, while for the BioNTech one it is about 94%.

 

As of 8pm, about 2,900 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 6,100 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, 11 people were sent to hospitals.
