1.88m vaccine jabs given

About 1,888,400 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,138,100 people receiving their first dose and about 750,400 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 497,800 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 640,300 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 359,700 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 390,700 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 4,300 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

Among them, about 1,900 people received the jab at community vaccination centres (CVCs), while about 2,400 people were inoculated at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.

 

Around 4,400 people received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine today, including about 2,000 vaccinated at CVCs and about 2,400 people through private doctors and clinics.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 10,200 people received their first dose at CVCs and about 12,700 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is 96%, while for the BioNTech one it is 95%.

 

As of 8pm, about 2,800 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 6,400 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, 11 people were sent to hospitals.
