1.85m vaccine doses administered

About 1,856,600 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,123,400 people receiving their first dose and about 733,200 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 493,500 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 629,900 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 355,200 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 378,000 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 3,600 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

Among them, about 1,600 people received the jab at community vaccination centres (CVCs), while about 2,000 people were inoculated at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.

 

Around 3,800 people received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine today, including about 1,700 vaccinated at CVCs and about 2,100 people through private doctors and clinics.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 7,600 people received their first dose at CVCs and about 10,700 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine is 96%, the same as for the BioNTech one.

 

As of 8pm, about 2,700 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 7,600 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, six people were sent to hospitals.
