1.83m COVID-19 jabs given

About 1,830,800 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,112,100 people receiving their first dose and about 718,700 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 489,900 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 622,300 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 351,500 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 367,200 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 3,900 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

Among them, about 1,700 people received the jab at community vaccination centres (CVCs), while about 2,200 people were inoculated at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.

 

Around 3,400 people received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine today, including about 1,600 vaccinated at CVCs and about 1,800 people through private doctors and clinics.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 7,700 people received their first dose at CVCs and about 10,600 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is 95%, while for the BioNTech one it is 96%.

 

As of 8pm, about 2,600 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 7,600 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, nine people were sent to hospitals.
