1.74m vaccine doses administered

About 1,741,700 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 1,071,500 people receiving their first dose and about 670,200 getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 477,000 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 594,500 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 341,500 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 328,700 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 3,800 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

Among them, about 3,300 people received the jab at community vaccination centres (CVCs), while about 400 people were inoculated at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.

 

Around 3,300 people received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine today, including about 3,000 vaccinated at CVCs and about 300 people through private doctors and clinics.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 12,100 people received their first dose at CVCs and about 18,000 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is 94%, and that for the BioNTech one is 96%.

 

As of 8pm, about 2,100 people booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 6,800 reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, 13 people were sent to hospitals.
