1.37m vaccine doses administered

About 1,377,600 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 897,100 people receiving their first dose and about 480,500 people getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 423,800 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 473,400 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 304,900 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 175,700 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 4,900 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

Among them, about 2,200 people received the jab at community vaccination centres (CVCs), while about 2,700 were inoculated at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.

 

Around 4,900 people received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine today, including about 2,900 people vaccinated at CVCs and about 1,900 people through private doctors and clinics.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 7,900 people received their first dose at CVCs and about 8,000 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is 96%, while that of the BioNTech vaccine is about 97%.

 

As of 8pm, about 4,000 people had booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 11,100 had reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, eight people were sent to hospitals.
