1.32m vaccine doses administered

About 1,327,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 872,500 people receiving their first dose and about 454,500 people getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 414,100 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 458,400 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 294,900 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 159,700 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 4,300 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

Among them, about 2,200 people received the jab at community vaccination centres (CVCs), while about 2,100 were inoculated at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.

 

Around 5,300 people received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine today, including about 3,300 people vaccinated at CVCs and about 2,000 people through private doctors and clinics.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 8,100 people received their first dose at CVCs and about 6,900 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at CVCs is 96%, while the overall percentage of people who have received the BioNTech vaccine at CVCs is about 97%.

 

As of 8pm, about 3,800 people had booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 12,400 had reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech jab.

 

As of midnight, 10 people were sent to hospitals.
