981k COVID-19 jabs given

About 981,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to the public, with about 648,900 people receiving their first dose and about 332,100 people getting their second dose.

 

Among those given the first dose of vaccines, about 363,400 people have received the Sinovac jab and about 285,500 people have received the BioNTech one.

 

For the second dose, about 188,700 people have received the Sinovac vaccine, while about 143,400 people have been administered the BioNTech jab.

 

About 4,000 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today.

 

Among them, about 1,900 people received the jab at eight community vaccination centres (CVCs), while about 2,100 were inoculated at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.

 

Around 11,300 people received their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine today, including about 7,900 people vaccinated at CVCs and about 3,400 people through private doctors and clinics.

 

For the BioNTech vaccine, about 12,600 people received their first dose at 21 CVCs and about 2,000 people received their second dose.

 

The overall percentage of people who received the Sinovac vaccine at eight CVCs is 97%, while that of the BioNTech vaccine at 21 CVCs is about 93%.

 

As of 8pm, about 4,300 people had booked their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online, while about 17,100 had reserved their first and second doses of the BioNTech one.

 

As of midnight, seven people were sent to hospital.
